The former Real Madrid player has spoken on his YouTube channel about the award given by France Football
The Madrid fans are in suspense over the Ballon d'Or. Several Real Madrid players are competing for the award given by France Football magazine, in collaboration with FIFA. On October 28, from the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the 68th award for best footballer of the year will be presented. Among the favorites are Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr., although Cristiano Ronaldo, a Real Madrid legend, has spoken on his YouTube channel about who would be his candidate.
MBAPPÉ, CRISTIANO RONALDO'S FAVORITE
Although the main candidate is Vinicius or Bellingham, or even Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo launches a candidate: "Mbappé could be the next Ballon d'Or." This past season he scored 44 goals and provided 10 assists in 48 games, and has moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid in one of the most high-profile transfers in history.
NO TRACE OF VINICIUS
Although Cristiano Ronaldo is betting on Mbappé, he also throws out three other names: "Him (Mbappé), Haaland, Belligham, Lamine...". The Portuguese forgets about Vinicius, and does mention the Spaniard Lamine Yamal. The Ballon d'Or will be offered in just a month, and everything seems to indicate that it will fall on the Madrid side.
